Cellist Timothy Roberts Artistic Director and President of Art of Music Chamber Players. This organization is a non profit chamber music ensemble of 3-8 performers on any given concert. The series which began in Boston in 1997 now presents 7 concerts in Boston, 5 in Brookline, and “Concerts in the Country” a six concert series in both Wellesley and Duxbury. Mr. Roberts has organized and performed in over 80 different programs. Responsibilities included forming the organization, arranging performance sites, publicity, audience data base, mailings, printing of materials for concert and publicity, and contracting of all performers.

Past experience includes similar contracting, librarian and payroll work for Orchestra for the Art of Music since 1996, which performs in Faneuil Hall, Boston. Also librarian work for the US/USSR Music Festival “Making Music Together” with the Opera Company of Boston in 1988, librarian and coordination for Civic Symphony Orchestra in Boston and many years of teaching and coaching, including Cleveland Institute of Music, Dean Jr. College, Brookline Music School, Arlington, Norwood, and Needham school systems, GBYSO, and Chamber Music Festival at Wellesley College.

Mr. Roberts has a Bachelor of Music from New England Conservatory of music, Masters of Music from Northwestern University and pursued Doctoral work at Cleveland Institute of Music.
