Rachel S. Lewis received an A.B. in music from Douglass College (Rutgers University), an MFA in voice and an MSW from the University of Buffalo.  Before moving to Dartmouth in 2002, she had a long and successful career in Western New York as a soloist and music teacher, while at the same time pursuing a second career as a clinical social worker.  Now affiliated with New Bedford’s Psychiatric and Psychological Associates, she also continues to pursue music, her first love.  After singing with the South Coast Chamber Music Society in 2003, she recently gave a solo recital at the Unitarian Memorial Church in Fairhaven.
