(Executive Director, Co-Artistic Director, 2001-present) is a graduate of Western Washington University and Northwestern University. As an oboist, she performs with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Hampshire Symphony, the Boston Ballet, and the Simon Sinfonietta among others. She is also a performing and organizing member of the Aiolos Collective, an international double reed ensemble, and is a frequent performer on WGBH radio (89.7 FM).
Mrs. Cobert was founder, artistic director, and executive director for the Zephyrus Wind Quintet (1989-1991) and for the New England Reed Trio (1991-1999). The New England Reed Trio co-sponsored an annual International Composition Contest and promoted new music in New England.
In the business arena, Mrs. Cobert served as a microcomputer specialist for Simmons College in Boston (1994-1996). She currently serves as part-time Administrative Assistant for the Coalition for Buzzards Bay in New Bedford.
