(Co-Artistic Director, 2001 - present) is a graduate of the University of Toronto, the Zurich Conservatory, and Yale University. He is the founder and executive director for Creative Ears for Tomorrow, the educational outreach programs for the South Coast Chamber Music Society (1992-present). He has been responsible for program development, marketing, grant writing, scheduling and allocation of funds for this educational program series. From 1995-1998, Mr. Cobert served as marketing and managing director of the Northeast Quintet Educational Concert Series and from 1985-1990 he served in similar capacity for the Cape Cod Symphony Trio, educational outreach programs. Mr. Cobert served as faculty for the Northeast Quintet Camp at Salve Regina University from 1992-2001, and in 1991, he was guest faculty for Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival in Blue Hill, Maine.
Mr. Cobert has served as principal flute of the Cape Symphony Orchestra since 1992 and is founder and acting chair of its orchestra committee. He is founder and artistic director of Cobach Musik, a chamber music ensemble providing music for private and corporate functions (1992-present). From 1983-1984 Mr. Cobert was managing director and performer for Hyatt Regency Chamber Ensembles in Acalpulco and Cancun, Mexico.
